Lake Rabun

Lake Rabun in Northeast Georgia is the third of six lakes that follow the course of the Tallulah River Basin. With 25 miles of shoreline, it is the second-largest lake in the chain.

Lake Rabun offers a wonderful setting for waterskiing, fishing, and afternoon cruises. Nearby Glen Ella Springs Inn, Lake Rabun Hotel, and The Orchard Golf Club offer the community enjoyable amenities. The surrounding area is abundant with wildlife and there are many hiking trails and waterfalls within a short distance. The active Lake Rabun Association sponsors many events throughout the year, such as The Rabun Ramble 5k & 10k Run; 4th of July fireworks, the Wooden Boat Parade and other July 4th activities, and the Lake Rabun Tour of Homes.
